Kleinanzeigen
Redefining Search for Millions of Classifieds Users
Info
Redesigning the search results page for Kleinanzeigen was a crucial project aimed at improving the platform’s usability for both B2B users and the general audience. The challenge was to optimize a high-traffic page that not only served the needs of businesses but also delivered a seamless experience for millions of everyday users. The redesign focused on refining the page layout, results filtering, and information presentation to create a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.
Through a series of in-depth user interviews and testing sessions, we gained valuable insights into how users interacted with search results and what features mattered most to them. We then implemented multiple design variants and conducted extensive A/B testing with millions of users to determine the most effective solution.
The results were clear—while the winning design was not the most visually striking, it significantly outperformed the other variants across all key success metrics. Metrics such as click-through rates, engagement, and conversion saw a substantial increase. This project demonstrated the power of data-driven design, where user behavior and empirical results led the way in creating a solution that not only looked good but also drove impactful business results.
